OUR STORY

The Giffnock North AAC began as an amateur athletics club back in 1943 and is now a community based amateur football club with a lively social scene, hosting live music and events.  From our great selection of competitively priced beers and spirits, to fabulous live music and tribute acts, we have everything you need to have a great night out.

We’re a member run sports and social club serving the community of Giffnock and surrounding areas in East Renfrewshire and Glasgow. The Giffnock North Club is set over 3 rooms - our cosy bar and lounge and our large function hall, with an outside seating area to boot. We have a pool table and darts available in the bar and we screen all the major sporting events. The club has a large on-site car park with free parking for all members and visitors.

The Giffnock North Club is also home to Giffnock North AAC Football Club who currently play in the Scottish Caledonian Amateur League.  The over 40s Team play in the Over 40s Central Region League and the 'Old Crocs'   football team are for over 35s. 

 

We also offer the finest Zumba classes in East Renfrewshire and host dance classes and a range of other community groups. Our spacious function hall is available to hire for private events such as weddings, birthdays and other celebrations and can also be made available to community groups within Giffnock or groups in the wider East Renfrewhire or Glasgow areas.
